Raft the Arkansas River from South Main Buena Vista to the Browns Canyon Riverside Grill
Departs Daily May 18 – August 18, 2019
The Happy Hour Raft to the Grill is a great way to cap off a day’s worth of adventure in Buena Vista, Colorado. Meet at the River Runners South Main location and raft six miles of the Arkansas River down to the Browns Canyon Riverside Grill at River Runners. Notable rapids include the Buena Vista River Park (class III), Beaver Falls (class III) and the Silver Bullet (class III).
The Browns Canyon Riverside Grill
This local food stand is located at River Runners, which is also the put-in for Browns Canyon National Monument. The Baja-inspired menu includes fish tacos, carne asada burritos, veggie burritos, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs and more. At the bar get local beers from Eddyline Brewery, a local whiskey drink from Deerhammer Distilling Company, margaritas or the River Rummer. Water and other non-alcoholic beverages are available including iced tea, natural sodas and root beer floats. Shuttles are provided back to your hotel.
Paddle Boat or Oar Boat
You can paddle along with guide instruction (most popular) or request an oar boat if you would prefer to hold on as your guide rows you down the river.
