Beginner Whitewater Rafting Trip Considerations

Gear Included

All River Runners rafting trips are guided and include PFDs, helmets, wetsuits, splash jackets, and river boots. No added rental fees.

High Water is in June

Ages and weight limits will be raised during high water in June, but there is almost always an alternate trip available. Our expert operations team watches conditions every day and will make decisions based on keeping you safe and having fun.

Paddle or Row

You can choose to paddle, which is the most popular, or have a guide row you down the river while you hold on and enjoy the scenery.

Advanced Whitewater Rafting for ages 14+

If you have never been rafting, but everyone in your group is over the age of 14, physically fit, and a strong swimmer, check out our advanced whitewater rafting trips through the Numbers and the Royal Gorge sections of the Arkansas River.
