Kid-friendly Rafting Trips in Buena Vista, Colorado
Family Float
Children as young as three who are at least 35 pounds can participate on a Family Float Rafting trip, which floats right back to River Runners. This scenic rafting trip on the Arkansas River is only 1 ½ hours, which makes it perfect for young children to get their feet wet on a river rafting trip in Colorado.

Browns Canyon
Browns Canyon is the most popular family river rafting trip in Colorado. Launch right from our private beach on full day, half day and overnight adventures any day May 1 through Labor Day. Participants for this intermediate rafting trip should be at least six years old and 50 pounds.

Colorado Hot Springs
All rafting guests receive discount tickets to Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort, which is only five minutes from the River Runners Riverside Resort. The designated kids’ zone features two warm swimming pools, a hot soaking pool, a warm toddler pool and a 400-foot water slide. River Runners can provide transportation to and from the hot springs if prior arrangements are made. All rafting guests also receive 10 percent off lodging at the newly built creek-side cabins, cliff-side dwellings or rustic hotel rooms available within the Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort. Basketball and tennis courts are also available.
