River Runners Royal Gorge is seeking enthusiastic, organized, and guest-oriented Sales and Guest Services Associates for the 2026 rafting season! Seasonal Employment: Mid-May through August 2026

Since 1972, River Runners has been leading thrilling whitewater rafting trips on the Arkansas River. During the summer season, we run daily rafting excursions through the iconic Royal Gorge and the family-friendly Bighorn Sheep Canyon. As a member of our Sales and Guest Services team, you’ll be essential in ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless, welcoming, and memorable experience at our Royal Gorge outpost.

Position Overview

As a Sales and Guest Services Associate, you’ll be the first and last point of contact for many of our guests. You’ll handle reservations, check guests in for their rafting trips, and help them prepare for a safe and enjoyable day on the river. Your responsibilities will also include:

• Greeting guests and ensuring a professional, welcoming environment
• Checking that waivers are completed
• Processing sales for rafting trips, photos, retail items, and souvenirs
• Packing and organizing lunches for rafting trips
• Answering questions about River Runners’ trips, policies, and local attractions
• Managing transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system
• Assisting with daily cleaning, organizing, and restocking of the retail area
• Supporting guides and operations staff to keep things running smoothly

This is a fast-paced, people-centered role where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with both our rafting guides and customers to make sure every guest has an outstanding River Runners experience.

Qualifications

We’re looking for individuals who are:

• Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working in a busy, outdoor-oriented environment
• Experienced in customer service, retail, or hospitality (preferred but not required)
• Able to stand for extended periods and work on their feet throughout the day
• Capable of handling transactions accurately and responsibly
• Willing to work weekends and summer holidays during peak season
