River Runners moves into part of FIBArk building

Raft, Kayak and SUP Board the Arkansas River

River Runners is opening a new outpost between the boat ramp and the Boathouse Cantina in Downtown Salida, Colorado set to open during the FIBArk Festival June 16-19, 2016.

The new outpost is part of the Adventure Hub (also in South Main in Buena Vista) and will feature raft, kayak and stand up paddle board tours on the Arkansas River. All tours depart at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm and will put in at the Big Bend Recreation Site and take out at the Salida Boat Ramp.

Four Locations on the Arkansas River

This is the fourth River Runners location. Other outposts are in the South Main neighborhood of Buena Vista, at the put in for Browns Canyon and at the Royal Gorge.

Gear Rental

River Runners at Salida will also be renting SUP boards, inflatable kayaks, river tubes, PFDs and helmets once the water comes down. These items will not be available for rent at high water.

Retail Shop

Another component of this new outpost will be retail of drinks, snacks, candy, t-shirts, swim suits, sun screen, sun glasses and other items you may need or want on the river.
