Ice Palace Inn History

The Ice Palace Inn was first built in the early 1900’s on five acres of land in Leadville, Colorado. It once contained an ice rink, dining room, grand ballroom, cloakrooms, a riding gallery, mini theater and toboggan runs.

The Ice Palace Inn was newly constructed in 1994 with some of the original lumber and is very near the original location. Interior guest rooms were named after the original Ice Palace rooms: Grand Ballroom Suite, Skating Rink, the King’s Tower and more…

Guests receive a full breakfast in the morning in the Victorian dining room before venturing out to explore all that Leadville Colorado outdoors has to offer.
