River Runners is looking for experienced raft guides in Buena Vista, Colorado for the summer rafting season. Successful applicants must complete training and qualification runs with a River Runners guide instructor.
Colorado raft guide requirements
Experienced in-state applicants will be required to provide a training log from an accredited Colorado company. Out-of-state applicants will be required to submit a training log from an accredited company and complete the Out-of-State Guide Minimum Qualification Form. All commercial raft guides in Colorado are required to have a current First Aid and CPR certification by an accredited institution (online courses are not accepted). Swift Water Rescue (SWR), Wilderness First Responder (WFR), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and/or other advanced training is preferred.
