Royal Gorge Whitewater Festival

The whitewater festival begins at 3:00 pm on Friday, June 24th with live music, a beer garden, and freestyle river boarding at the Cañon City Whitewater Park along the beautiful Arkansas River. The music will continue all night, including live music. 

Saturday

Saturday, the festival reopens bright and early at 7:30 a.m., beginning with River Lotus Yoga instructing a morning yoga class. All day Saturday, there will be live music, an anglers’ competition, inner tube races, a duckie dash, more yoga, a raft rodeo, multiple raft races, and several food and merchandise vendors. The festival will continue all day and into the night, ending again around 11:00 p.m.

River Runners at the Whitewater Festival

River Runners Royal Gorge will have a tent set up both Friday and Saturday for the festivities. The River Runners tent has a prime spot, so grab a beer, stop by to hang out, and sign up for a chance to win a free whitewater rafting trip with River Runners! We’ll be giving away multiple free rafting trips throughout the duration of the festival. Community Rafting Race and Raft Rodeo

River Runners will also be participating in the Community Raft Race on Friday and the Raft Rodeo on Saturday if you’d like to come and enjoy the spectacle while cheering us on!
