2011 4th of July Celebration in Buena Vista, Colorado

The Fourth of July in Buena Vista, Colorado is an old fashioned, hometown style Independence Day celebration. A pancake breakfast starts at 7:00 am, followed by a Fourth of July parade down East Main at 10:00 am. If you would like to be in the parade, just show up at the Buena Vista Courthouse at 9:30 am. The Buena Vista Rotary Club will be selling hamburgers and hot dogs at the Four Square Park. Fireworks will be held at the Buena Vista Rodeo Grounds at dusk (weather permitting).

2011 4th of July Celebration in Salida, Colorado

Independence Day festivities in Salida, Colorado start at 12:00 pm in Riverside Park with the Salida Circus, arts and crafts. The annual Salida Independence Day Parade starts at 4:00 pm, followed by music in the park by Ironically Charged, The New World Love and Lazy Alien Blues Band. Fireworks will be at dusk (weather permitting.

2011 4th of July Celebration in Canon City, Colorado

The Royal Gorge Bridge and Park will start its July 4th celebration with a 21-black powder gun salute and the Geezers band playing. No fireworks will be held at the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park, but a fireworks show will be held at the top of Skyline Drive. Festivities will also be held at Pueblo Community College – Fremont Campus on Highway 50, featuring a live band and free watermelon. Fireworks start at 9 p.m.
