This summer, get your feet wet whitewater rafting while supporting a great cause!

On Sunday July 27, 2008 River Runners, The Whitewater Professionals, will host their 2nd annual RAFT for the CURE event at their Buena Vista Riverside Resort.

You can raft any half-day or full day rafting trip on this date and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen affiliates in Aspen, Colorado Springs and Denver.

Rafting trips range from mild to wild. Participants must be at least 6 years old and 50 pounds to participate.

All RAFT for the CURE participants will receive a FREE photo CD with their rafting images on them, courtesy of Arkansas Valley Digital Imaging.

Come early and plan to stay late! The River Runners store will offer RAFT for the CURE souvenir t-shirts and bracelets with 50% of the proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen affiliates in Aspen, Colorado Springs and Denver.

Supporters can enjoy a beach volleyball game before or after their event. You can quench your thirst and hunger at the new Riverside Bar and Grill at River Runners Riverside Resort where they will be offering discounted menu items for supporters of this year’s event.
