A place like no other, Dinosaur National Monument is one of the most pristine areas in the Nation. Because summer temperatures can reach close to 100 degrees Fahrenheit, it is refreshing to view the monument by raft. Dip your toes into the cool water as you experience unique rock formations twisting and winding along the riverbanks, sometimes reaching 2,000 feet from the rivers edge.
And then there are the rapids! The most difficult rapids encountered in Dinosaur National Monument are Class IV-V at Warm Springs Rapid on the Yampa River. Guaranteed to get your blood pumping a bit, the whitewater aspect of rafting adventures bring an added element of excitement to your trip, without the sense of danger. Your whitewater guides professionally guide the rafts through each rapid to ensure a safe river journey.
Divided between Colorado and Utah, Dinosaur National Monument is a seemingly untouched backdrop for your eco-friendly vacation.
