Adrift Adventures is a concessionaire for the National Parks Service. Utilize our resources and exclusive launch dates develop class offerings and outreach programs in Dinosaur National Monument through our one-day and multi-day rafting expeditions on the Green and Yampa Rivers. Trips are limited to 25 participants. Adrift Adventures provides all-inclusive trips complete with catered meals, experienced whitewater guides, varied watercrafts, and all rafting safety equipment.

A Jurassic Journey through Dinosaur National Monument

The Lodore Canyon 4-day trip covers 44 river miles, on the Green River, starting at Gates of Lodore in Colorado and ending at Split Mountain campground in Utah. The Green river has carved three spectacular gorges: Lodore Canyon, Whirlpool Canyon and Split Mountain Canyon. Starting at river level the canyon walls of Lodore soar dramatically to over 2,500 feet high in just two miles. [ Watch Video ]

Roaring 72 miles through a colorful 2,000 ft. deep sandstone gorge in Colorado's Dinosaur National Monument, the Yampa has carved a spectacular canyon maze unsurpassed for its sublime beauty and wilderness.

The Yampa River is the LAST MAJOR FREE-FLOWING RIVER in the entire Colorado River system. There are large playful waves from first day to last. But then we come to Warm Springs Rapid, it is considered one of the west's "Big Drops." [ Watch Video ]

The best one day rafting trip in Utah, the most awesome canyon scenery on a full day raft trip through 1,500 ft. deep Split Mountain, in Dinosaur National Monument.

Traveling to the river, groups stop to view and learn about ancient Indian rock art. On the river, this section offers unique geology and rises hundreds of feet above the river. Class I-III rapids are scattered throughout the trip. Half way through the canyon we will find a sandy beach where your guides will prepare a riverside lunch. More rapids and exploration fill the second half of your trip. A short drive back to Adrift Adventures and you are back at your vehicle by 4:00PM. [ More Info ]
